New Owner Bag Packing

Every month, during PSB new owner training, Kids-Lift and new franchisees work together to give back to the community. Participants not only learn how to effectively and correctly run their new businesses, but also learn the importance of getting into the community to make connections.

We believe in purpose-driven business, so they learn about the mission behind Kids-Lift while filling care packages for the Charlottesville food pantry. These bundles (full of healthy snacks, some fun ones, and activities) help the group see a tangible impact of Kids-Lift and ensure kids in the area have access to the food they need.

We make sure each bag has a variety of options. Most recently, they had yogurt, popcorn, chocolate (because every child deserves some fun!), coloring sheets, and more. With each month’s training, the team gives thirty children food security and a chance to do what kids do best: have fun.

We are so grateful to the new owners for their willingness to take time during their very important time of learning to support the community and their excitement to get involved with Kids-Lift when their businesses become eligible!
